We get lots of different and
varied song requests here at Give-a-song.com, and I thought it
would be a good idea to share some of these song orders with
you all. Although many people's first impressions of a
personalized song is that it is a romantic gift, given between
two lovers, this doesn't always have to be the case - a custom
song really can be given for any occasion.
Here are some of the song
orders we've been working on this week:
Derek Daisey
has been writing and recording a birthday song, which was
commissioned by a group of physicians in America. They wanted
the song done 'Elvis' style, and with lots of funny info
included about the recipient (including how he eats outdated
food in the fridge at work - ewww!).
Howie Cross
created a unique 40th wedding anniversary song for a lucky
recipient in England. The couple in question met at Drama
School all those years ago, and the song wad dedicated to
their next 40 years together.
Brenda-Lee Heathcote wrote and recorded a song in the
style of The Monkees, to be played as the showpiece at an
anniversary party.
One of the songs I have worked on (Alan
Law - that's me!), which really made me smile, included a
lovely detail: the recipient of the song had proposed to his
now-wife in style, dressed as a Knight in Shining Armour at a
medieval-themed party. How romantic is that?
These are just some of the song orders we've
been working on this week - I hope you enjoyed reading a bit
about them.
