This may sounds a little
self-promotional, but I think it’s a good idea to
explore some of the benefits that may not instantly come to mind
about giving someone their very own song.
Obviously, it is a very special gift in its own right, and can be
spectacularly romantic (if you want it to be – it doesn’t have to be
romantic at all if you want to give a song to a friend or relative), but
there are some important extra benefits that come from the gift of song:
1. It really is a gift that will be played and appreciated forever.
How many people get their very own song? Exactly, not many at all. It is
so special that it will be played over and over again, and kept for the
rest of that person’s life. Most likely it will even be passed down
generations of families – a priceless family artifact that will be
listened to hundreds of years down the line.

2. It can document your relationship, in a magical way. This is a
chance to have a beautiful record of your relationship – from your first
meeting, through to that very fist date, your wedding day and more. No
other medium can tell the story of your relationship like a custom song.
3. It is the ultimate surprise gift. Do people expect to receive
a song all about them for their birthday or anniversary? Of course they
don’t! It really is a beautiful surprise, and one you will be loved for.

4. It’s exciting to give. Whether you are choosing to have one of
our template songs re-recorded with unique vocals, or whether you want a
wholly original song written and recorded, being part of the songwriting
process is exciting – you are part of a unique service, and our
customers frequently tell us how thrilling it all is.
5. It’s incredibly personal. There’s not really any other gift
out there where you get so involved, where you tell us as much as you
want about the recipient and your relationship. It’s a really personal
process, and you are free to tell your songwriter about any details
you’d like included in your song (for our custom service). Your chosen
songwriter is in frequent communication with you, talking about your
song on a one-to-one basis, so the service itself is also intrinsically
personal.
