North East's mid-morning DJ, Matt
Spokes, contacted us about writing and recording a song
for his fellow DJ and friend, Sally Hudson.
Matt had
committed the cardinal sin of insinuating Sally's bum was,
well, not the best - live on air! Feeling guilty, he sent her some
flowers to apologize. Sally soon forgave him, and bought him a 'My
Little Pony' (her nickname for Matt is 'Show Pony'). Going one
step further, she thanked him by singing him a song on his show!
Before they
knew it, they were in a gift war! So, Matt
contacted us to produce a funny - but also touching - song for
Sally, which he played for Sally on his show.
The gift war,
we think, was well and truly won!
